Creating a ChimeEdu account is free and takes less than two minutes. Once you’re signed up, you can join your teacher’s classroom, complete activities, and track your progress across all your subjects — from any device.

Steps to create your account

1

Go to app.chimeedu.com/register

Open app.chimeedu.com/register in your browser.
2

Fill in your name and email

Enter your first name, last name, and email address.
3

Select your role

In the I am a… dropdown, select Student.
4

Add your school (optional)

If your teacher has asked you to, enter your school or institution name. This helps your teacher identify you when you join their classroom.
5

Set your username

ChimeEdu will auto-generate a username for you. You can keep it or customise it to something you prefer.
6

Create a strong password

Enter a password that is at least 10 characters long and includes an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a symbol. Confirm it in the next field.
7

Accept the Terms and Privacy Policy

Read and tick the checkbox to agree to ChimeEdu’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
8

Click Create Account

Select Create Account to submit your registration.
9

Check your email for a confirmation link

ChimeEdu will send a confirmation email to the address you used. Open it and click the confirmation link.
10

Click the link to confirm and sign in

After confirming, you’ll be signed in and taken to your ChimeEdu dashboard. You’re ready to join a classroom.
Use your school email address if your teacher has asked you to — it helps them identify you quickly when you join their classroom.

Signing in

Once your account is confirmed, sign in at app.chimeedu.com/login:
  • Enter your email and password, then click Sign In.
  • If you’ve set up a Passkey (biometric login), you can use Sign in with Passkey instead.

  2. Enter the email address linked to your account.
  3. Check your inbox for a password reset email and click the link inside.
  4. Set a new password and sign in.
