Every activity type you create in ChimeEdu is designed to make a subject come alive for students. Below is a quick overview of what’s available:

Run real-time, multiplayer quiz sessions with join codes, live leaderboards, and per-question timers. Students join from any browser — no app needed.

Maps

Place interactive pins on any location on earth. Each pin holds rich text, images, and context — ideal for geography, history, and literature.

Timelines

Arrange events in chronological order with images and rich descriptions. The timeline sorts automatically so you can build in any order.

Flash Cards

Build spaced-repetition decks with terms, definitions, and images. Students study at their own pace across multiple study modes.

Assessments

Create tests with several question types, optional timers, and automatic scoring for the objective types. You can see and open each submission as it arrives.

Study Guides

Write structured reference content from stacked blocks — text, images, videos, files — with optional AI-assisted drafting. Link it to a classroom and it’s available immediately.

Experiences

Document field trips with travel mapping, student journal entries, and structured prompts. Everything stays inside your classroom — no scattered forms.

Fill-in-the-Blank

How ChimeEdu works

The Classroom is your organizational hub on ChimeEdu. Each Classroom groups together a set of students and all the content you’ve built for them — quizzes, maps, timelines, assessments, study guides, experiences, and fill-in-the-blank activities. When you link an activity to a Classroom it appears there straight away — there’s no separate publish step. Students log in, open their Classroom, and see what’s there, grouped by type and listed newest first. You can run multiple Classrooms at once (subject to your plan tier), each with its own enrollment and content.
