Register for an account

Go to the registration page
Open app.chimeedu.com/register in your browser. You’ll see the Join ChimeEdu form.

Fill in your details
Complete all required fields (marked with *):
- First Name and Last Name
- I am a… — select Teacher from the dropdown. Other options include School Administrator, Principal / Dean, Student, and Other.
- School / Institution — optional, but recommended so your account is associated with your school.
- Email — enter your address and proceed to the next step.
- Username — ChimeEdu automatically generates a username for you. You can customise it in the field before submitting if you prefer something different.
- Password — choose a strong password. See Password requirements below.
- Confirm Password — re-enter your password to confirm it.

Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
Check the box confirming you agree to ChimeEdu’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. This is required to create an account.

Click Create Account
Click the Create Account button to submit your registration. ChimeEdu will send a confirmation email to the address you provided.

Confirm your email address
Open the confirmation email from ChimeEdu and click the verification link inside. This activates your account. If you don’t see the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.

Sign in for the first time
Once your email is confirmed, head to app.chimeedu.com/login and sign in with your email and password. You’re in — welcome to ChimeEdu.
Sign in to your account
Once your account is active, sign in at app.chimeedu.com/login using one of two methods:- Email & Password
- Passkey
- Enter the email address you registered with.
- Enter your password.
- Click Sign In.
Use your account email and password — not a classroom join password or an assessment access code.
Reset a forgotten password
If you’ve forgotten your password, ChimeEdu can send you a reset link by email.1
Open the Forgot Password page
On the login page, click Forgot your password? — or go directly to app.chimeedu.com/forgot-password.

Enter your email address
Type the email address associated with your ChimeEdu account and click Send Reset Link.

Check your inbox
Open the reset email from ChimeEdu and click the link inside. The link will take you to a page where you can set a new password. Reset links expire after a short time, so use it promptly.

Set your new password
Enter and confirm your new password, following the password requirements below. Once saved, sign in with your new credentials.
Password requirements
When creating or resetting your password, it must meet all of the following criteria:- At least 10 characters long
- Contains at least one uppercase letter (A–Z)
- Contains at least one lowercase letter (a–z)
- Contains at least one number (0–9)
- Contains at least one symbol (e.g.
!,@,#,$)
